Asp.Net login page for different types of users

Hai am new to.net security i want to develop a login page for a college website and my project requirement is only single login page for both student and teacher please tell me the best way to implement this concept and how can i check user credentials for both from 2 different tables

plase tell me best way............

You can put checkox -one for student and another for teacher.
