GSM Modem recieving SMS Problem

Hi experts,
I am developing a software that sends sms and it's waiting for recieving sms using a GSM Modem (USB port that identities as a COM).

I am using ActiveXperts Software SMS MMS Toolkit

It works until sending the first sms. After sending the first sms it can't recieve any more sms but it can still send sms.

If I disconnect the usb cable and re-plug it again it will be ok until sending the first sms.

I don't know what can I do for it. Please help.

It would be better if you go and talk to ActiveXperts Software guys. They should suggest and help you out in setting it up properly.

The problem is not ActiveXperts, the problem is locking simcard after the first sms. If I use AT Command it has also the same problem.

Solution 2

using AT commands you are facing same problem,
It can be problem with modem or sim-card or network also,

try to attach mobile with same simcard instead of modem device & test
if problem is not found then something wrong in modem device.
