Working structure of Web Api in ASP.NET

Today I want to create a new WebApi in Asp.NET but i have some confuse. Kindly i request you give me answer of these question.....I am waiting...

1. Can anybody tell me what is the limitation of WebAPI?

2. What is the Role of ApiController in WebApi?

3. How can handle client request in WEBApi Controller?

4. Can we create multiple [Post],[Get],[Put],[Delete] ? If No then How can we handle multiple request?

Please Help............
