Is it possible to view records stored in inserted table in sql

Hi..
Im learning triggers and i tried with sample code. While inserting,updating or deleting a record using trigger,that record gets stored in inserted table which holds a copy of that record. But is it possible to view the records from that inserted table? Also how much time the record will get stored in that temporary table...and how many records can be stored in inserted table
