How to do the Mail Merge in ASP.Net

I want to create a Mail Merge word document and save in the Database, when i click the show button, it should display with sql data. How can i use the web.config connectionstring for Mail merge word document.

Eg: if i select name "John" from drop down then show the report with "John's" Data.

I would start by recording a macro in Word of doing what you want. However, you'll need the Word dlls on the webserver for this method to work.
