I am looking for some help on the datepicker, I must tell all that am not up to the mark of the article I have read so far on the datepicker on this site, has they are well above what i can understand for now.

The help am looking for is how to get the date taken from the calender by the user and to have that emailed back to me.I know somewere down the line its to do with getdate() ,and how the code is writen to email it back.I have a php form that takes a name and aaddress ect and that comes back to my email.

I have books on the datepicker but they all fall sort on showing how to email it back.I know that if i can get over this hurdle i Can start to learn and not have to go thro a divorce.

Thank you

First of all, don't post your email, you will get spam and we won't email you.

Second, if the articles are above your level, then this task is beyond you right now. However, sending an email has nothing to do with datepickers, and so no datepicker article will cover it. Once you have the date from your datepicker, then you need to read an article on sending emails to cover that step.

mailto just uses the default mail program, it's not going to send something, and it happens on the client side, not the server. What is your back end written in, do you have one ( PHP, or ASP.NET, for example ). If not, then you can't send emails, all you can do, is mailto: If you ask more specific questions, and post code, we can try to give more specific answers. Your question is too vague for an answer above what I gave. Oh, you have PHP, and you're the guy I've been helping with the booking.php code ?
