Impossible. If i read your question right. If you mean IP-address of the receivers mail-server, then you can just ping it.

You can't. Your user may not even HAVE an IP when you send them an email, and if they do, it is hidden from you.

Well, ( and I know I'll regret this ), you could put an img tag inside your email that identifies your user, and write code so that you can get their IP *if* they show the image in their web client, but that's about it. I do not recommend it, if the mail program works out what you're doing, it will put all your mails in to spam, at least.
