hai Seniors..

can anybody tel me code to backup db from server.. i process authentication credentials for server access. i need to restore it to the local sql also..

am new to this and also tell me whether sql sever provides any function to make my job..

I understood your problem now.

I found Transferring backup files from a remote SQL Server instance to a local machine without network shares, FTP, HTTP[^] after googling for 1 hr. It is a very good artcle which will help you.

Another link- database-backup-to-restore-from-remote-server-sql-server[^], which is just a manual process of taking back-up with the help of SQL Server Management Studio just for your reference.

@Tadit : Haii.. What my need is to take backup of the remote db in sql server express to my local PC. With Database backup we can only take backup to the server machine itself but my need is to transfer that backup file to my local PC and restore it with the DB in My Local SQL Server.
