i got this error after deploying my application
The connection name 'ConnectionString' was not found in the applications configuration or the connection string is empty

and the connection string does exists in the web.config file.
we use RSA encryption to encrypt the connection strings and machine key too.
so i don't know where is the problem exactly .. any help ??

Well, error says what is the issue. Now, if you say that tit is present in config file then the implementation of accessing it has issues. But, we cannot suggest anything as you have not shared the related code.

Solution 1

The error is that connection string is missging in the WEB.CONIFG file or there is another possiblity that is may be the name which you have given in the web.config file may be different from the one which you have called. Check these, may be it'll solve your problem
