Run Windows Service on Web Server

Hello,

I am creating a windows service which i have to deploy on web server to send sms on daily basis automatically. Can anybody please help me how to deploy and install my windows service on web server, is it possible or i have to try something else.

I don't think you need to do anything else. Just create batch file with the commands in above link. Web server is just another PC; so you can run that batch file in that PC; so your problem should be solved. Please don't forget to start the service...

yes sir that is my main question how to run that batch file on server or start my service its very helpfull if i get some walkthrough, is there any right issues with batch files on server.

How you are accessing your server. Is it via a remote desktop connectivity?. If so you can transfer files to server and execute. We cannot predict about any permission issues as it completely depends upon the privileges of the user account you use.

You have to talk to your hosting company and try and get them to install your service on their servers. And good luck with that.
