Unable to open Windows project

Hello All,

I am not able to open my windows project,
As clicked on my project its showing below message
Unable to read the project file "my-project.csproj"

and in solution explorer showning ... my-project(unavailable)

Please can any one help me to resolve this issue asap.

Adding information like visual studio used, .net framework of project, first time opening or not, any change after last time it opened successfully - would have helped.

No i have not made any changes to it.. VS 2005 was working fine before few days but now occurring this problem.

Please help me !!

is it corrupt? is it missing? has it been upgraded to 2008/2010?

it's only an xml file - have a look at it ...

if it's gone, get the last one from your source control/backup and rework it

you haven't really explained what's going wrong - as a programmer, I'm sure you understand that 'it doesn't work' is about as much use as a chocolate teapot
