Since this seems to be a particularly popular subject line, I thought I'd exploit it a little.

To those of you required to come up with a project for school, do not ask what we think. Why? Because we'll tell you that you're not much of a programmer if you can't identify something like this on your own. After all, coming up with and implementing a solution on your own is a BIG part of the development process.

So what does this have to do with the subject line? Essentially, I DOUBT that you'll be much of a programmer when/if you graduate. Since the bulk of these kinds of requests are coming from India, I DOUBT that many of you will be able to accomplish much more in the IT industry than vaulting to the top of the ranks of customer service departments. Lastly, I DOUBT you'll ever be allowed anywhere near serious code - at least in the US.

And your c# question is?

I agree that I hate the general "what to do for a project" post. As someone who has been in/out of graduate school while working, it's hard for me to keep up with all the articles/mags/journals I used to. Sometimes it would be nice to hear, "This is a hot topic right now..." to help focus my energy for a project. I'd hate to waste hours on a project/problem/ that really cannot be improved much more.

Your anger/frustration is acceptable. Don't you think this is a wrong forum? This could have fitted well in Soapbox.

so what you want...a fight, huh ? you know what I dunno who you are and perhaps I never want to know. But tell me one thing, were you born genius ? did you start programming as you open your eyes ? The answer is NO.

Everyone in the entire world thinks different...If all looks in same direction we all will be back in dark age. If all became business(wo)men then who will work for them.

Since you used India word, then heed one thing dude "You cant stop, what you didn't start" :)
