Lsa Notification Packages Mechanism fails on Windows8

Hi All

I am using Lsa Notification Packages to get InitializeChangeNotify call to initialize my application at the login time. this mechanism is working fine till windows7 but its fails on windows8.

I have done my dll entries in lsa Notification Package to load my dll in lsass.exe because of so my dll get loaded successfully in lsass.exe upto windows7 but it fail on windows 8

is there any extra setting on windows 8?

Hi All,

it seems there is some difference between "Reboot" and "Shutdown" in windows 8.

Cause when ever i "shutdown" my machine and re-start it then system ignores my dll entry from LSA Notification Packages. but when ever i use "Reboot" option to restart machine then after windows8 loads my dll in lsass.exe...

is it bug or functionality ?????

Since Windows 8 has not yet been formally released you may get a better response by going to a Microsoft Windows 8 developer forum.

ya i already raised this issue in MS windows 8 dev forum, but it seems they don't have idea about this issue
