what are all the prerequisites to learn the uml,

i think ooad,

can you kindly explain ' is there any order to learn uml and other stuff.

The ability to read would be a good prereq.

Seriously, pickup any book on UML and read the fist couple of pages. Usually, it will tell you who the target audience is and what the knowledge pre-req's are for that book.

I know this has been answered before but I would like to recommend the following:

PlantUML Editor: A Fast and Simple UML Editor using WPF[^]

added to that a wicked UML / diagraming tool I use is the tool from websequencediagrams. Once you pickup the language it is really fast and fun to generate diagrams.

Failing that there is plain old MS Viso!
