Removal of prefix ns0 from root node namespace

Hi,
how to remove the prefix ns0 from the root node namespace. My xml is something like below.

<ns0:customer xmlns:ns0="abc.com">
<customer>
<name>
<id>




i need the 1st statement to be displayed as below.
<customer xmlns="abc.com">

Can anyone help please?
