HTML web template and ASP.NET controls

hi all

i wanna know that how can we use asp.net controls in HTML web templates ..

HTML web template has HTML controls like textboxes , chkboxes etc..
but i want to replace these controls with asp.net controls, so i can write c# code on these controls

Whats the issue? Did you try it? What exactly HTML template means here?

i downlaod the template from google .. which have textboxes and and link buttons etc .. now i want to use .aspx controls instaed of .htm controls , so that i can write c# code behind these controls .. am beginner thats why these issues are very big for me .. need assistance of professionals like u
