Which Dynamic Content Management System (CMS) should I use?
• Wordpress (very complex, very heavy to run, quite easy to modify)
• Plone (It is being used by [these guys])
Assessments[]
• Ilias
• Anything else you can think of.

I want to design a very complex website.

I would appreciate any word of wisdom.

it is really depend on your requirement.

Joomla or Drupal are great open source content management systems. Both are providing powerful plugins system to enhance your system with contributions from other developers or communities.

Joomla has better performance on UI. But Drupal are used in enterprise-level applications.
