Datetime datatype error in SSIS

Hi All....

I am migrating a data from one table to another table using ssis.. but i got an error when converting datetime datatype.... what i done so far is drag and drop an oledb source and data conversion transaformation and oledb destination... in oledb source i created a select command in that i put lstdt as '' and tried to convert to dt_date but i got an error value as 2..

What datatype should i use in SSIS in order to convert it to sql datetime datatype... if i put getdate() also i got an error...

kindly suggest me....

Please provide the sample date field value and the desire date time format after copy the value in new table.
