poulating a web control with values copied from excel column

hello,

im trying to figure out how can do the following thing:

I have a simple html page, what i would like to do is to copy an entire column of numbers from excel and paste it into a web control (i tried listbox, textbox) whatever,
what i need to do is to go on each number and do a string manipulation on each number, than forward it to another function .

when i copied the column into a textare control, i noticed that is seperates in with an empty line .

i need a better way to implement this, any way to copy this into a list control that takes every ow as an item ?

please guide me guys
