remove autorun virus

Hello all,

I want to write a program. It should be able to remove autorun virus when flash arrives. How to delete it? How I know difference between normal autorun and autorun virus to remove it?

please Help me!

you could try, but in my opinion you are better off using one of the commercial antivirus programms.

Solution 1

There is no difference between autorun program and autorun virus. Only a program which has signatures database of virus can check whether the autorun program is a virus or a normal autorun program.

Download the database of virus signatures from the internet.

Write the program that will detect the flash drive connected and compare the virus signatures to that of the autorun files in the flash drive.

It's a good way for many viruses but not for complex viruses.
