download document from folder

Hi
I am downloading files from a folder within my project and there is script running to show a gif image representing page load. The problem is even after download the script is not terminating.Am creating button using string bulider and html. The document name is a tag and in the click event a function is called in script to download. Pls help me out.. I am using C#

PowerShell 2.0 can do it. However, from what I believe I know, the remote machine has have the PowerShell app on it to communicate with the Powershell. Of course you can always have an app on the remote computer that you communicate with using WCF. See http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/powershell/powershell_remote.htm[^]
