Hi All,

I would like to do a web installation using silent install.

I want to give site, app pool, virtual directories as a command line switch.

Can this be possible?

The idea is to create site, virtual directory and app pool in a winforms application to immitate as an installer and on Install button click it will trigger the msiexec to install the application.

Thanks in advance
PMM.

Hi Ganesan,

Thanks for your immediate response.

I have implemented the idea with WIX installer and tools such as Paraffin.

I would like to know, whether this can be possible with msi and msiexec switches.

Thanks
PMM.

If you have a question about or comment on a given solution use the "Have a Question or Comment?" option beneath the solution. When using this option the person who gave the solution gets an e-mail message and knows you placed a comment and can respond if he/she wants.

Please move the content of this solution to the solution you are commenting on and remove the solution.
Thank you.
It is nothing but AppStore application from Apple products. You can build with the reference to MonoMac at http://www.mono-project.com/MonoMac[^]
