how to avoid page refreshing while uploading file

Can Anyone know answer:

while selecting country from dropdown list page is refreshed due to page refresh uploaded file is cleared...because of this problem i have upload file twice how can i avoid page refresh....

you can use Ajax update panel you can partialy load a page. Check here .

page refresh or postback the page once check it

you have done postback or not in your pageload if not working refere below link

to avoid lose data when page refreshing
