Meaning of the tables sales header, sales invoice header,sales invoice line

Dear Memebers,

Help me out with the meaning of the tables used in navision.
I was told to prepare the ssrs reports from the tables used in navision.

I didnt understood the names of table, faced domain problem.

If possible please explain in which order data gets saved in database tables

There were tables like
sales header,
sales invoice header,
sales line header
sales invoice line

when you add order in navision data gets stored in sales header and sales line.
but only the order gets prepared no quantity gets decreased ..after when you post any order it gets removed from sales header and transfers to the sales invoice header and while doing this effects goes to the item ledger entry and other finance related tables.
