File Locked by a Process / Unable to delete file, a program is using it

Some files are sometimes in use and if we try to access those files .. It shows error File is in use ..

If we want to safely remove a PenDrive it shows drive is in use ..

Qn. Know which process is currently using that file? and How to close handle of that file?

Solution 1

Handle is a utility that displays information about open handles for any process in the system. You can use it to see the programs that have a file open, or to see the object types and names of all the handles of a program.
