WinForms, WPF, or ... ?

Are you looking for something like this: WinForms: [^], or, [^].

This CP "great classic" WinForm article "A Much Easier to Use ListView,"
By Phillip Piper[^] is an extended ListView, but does support "grouping." It has been on CP since 2006, and has been revised/updated numerous times, most recently in July of 2011. The author continues to reply to questions on this article as of this month !

Or, WPF, like this: [^].

Study the article, thoroughly. Download the code and any sample app. Run the sample app. Study the code. Put the code in your own Project: use it.
