dropdownlist outside the gridview

Hi,
my name is maheswar rao.........i want to know how to add page number of gridview to outside the dropdownlist and if i select pagenumbers in dropdownlist i should get related pages in gridview............

pls any one helpme out...............my problem is dropdownlist is placed outside the gridview......not in gridview............

It is about Button but if u understand its working u will able to do with any other control like dropdownlist or textbox & button.
