sql server2005 on windows 7

hi i am new user of sql server2005
i install sqlserver2005 with xp its work fine.
but now a days i work in windows7 its installed successfully
but when i start mangementstudio for sqlserver
when i click on connect problem show username
what the problem. will any body suggest me answer for this
its problem of windows7 i think
problem is like this when i click on connect button

"Login Failed for user 'abc\username'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18456)"

Check your "Server Name :" [YourComputerName]\SQLEXPRESS

"UserName :" sa

"Password :" (if you gave while install)

hello

are you trying do login with the windows authentication in sql server 2005??

windows 7 might not directly allow window authentication, you have to change some setting from Sql Server Surface Area else login with sa account
