I am planning to release an open source tool. I want to allow third party's to include the tool in commercial products, but force them to display credit to the author of the tool (i.e. the "about" dialog box which must not be removed).
Does anyone know of a existing license that would cover this? Most licenses (i.e. MIT) only cover display of copyright in code source, not in the application itself. creative commons seems to be what I'm looking for, but it's not supported by sourceforge.

5'ed!
I finally found it. The BSD 2-Clause License is the one I'm looking for. Short and easy to understand
