i am developing an application in java ,,, which required system configuration ,, i.e i want to collect all information regarding my computer ,,, such as OS, ram , etc.. which tool is better for me .. i m using netbeans 7.0 ,,, does java program allow us to do this.. because windows 7 is in c/c++ ... can i implement c/c++ in my java code?

You can't write C++ in Java. That would be like going to France, and hoping to speak Chinese and be understood. If your code is only going to run on Windows, then why are you using Java and not C# ? If it's not only going to run on Windows then you have an issue, because different computers will have different mechanisms to do this.

I googled and found people asking this, but didn't see any answers. I doubt you can do it.
