Hello Everybody,

I am in need of assistance once again. I was asked to put together an app that among other things, must have a barcode enabled section. Of course, this was not part of the original specs and most of the app (98%) is done.

Here's the scenario; since there are so many data entry points (textboxes, comboboxes, and other similar controls), I'd like to be able to detect if the USB barcode-reader is plugged in or not, and to be able to disable/enable the USB port where it is at will.

Is such thing even possible?

Thank you all for your interest and help.

Joe.

Hello kaushikjoshi,

Thank you for your suggestion. At a glance it seems to only offer information on connected devices rather than offering the option to enable/disable a particular one, but I'll look closer into it; perhaps it does have what I need.

I'll let you know if it was helpful.

Best regards.

Joe.
