Is it possible to convert real time data, from .xls to .csv format?

Help is greatly appreciated

What do you mean by tagging your question with VBScript ? you mean you want to do that in web pages in client side ?

What do you mean by "real time"?! Is Excel assumed to be installed?

Yes. i get real time data(temp. measurements)from my application into excel, which i need to get converted in csv format on continuous basis.
