Hello all,

I know it will sound ridiculous but I have been trying to figure out why I can not access a part of a page within a page.

https://login.advancedmd.com/[^]

I am trying to view this page. The page loads but the part that where user logins is not available or will not show up. From my home I can view the page perfectly and without errors.

But at work, I can not access this part of the page from my work computer. I have disabled the virus / protection programs. Turned off the firewall, enabled the iFrame from miscellaneous part but it will not help. It says i need to have the latest version of IE. although I have downloaded it, it wont let me view this part. anyone have any idea how i can access or view this part of the page?

http://www.ahfb2000.com/webmaster_help_desk/showthread.php?t=10985[^] This is a similar issue that I am facing. Almost identical just the page is different.)

thanks

Hello Abey thank you very much for the answer. I have tried allowing disabling javascript popus, iframe and such stuff from tools -> options menu but I have no idea why I cannot able to view it. It is weird that some people can able to see it and none of my computers cant right now.

1 solution

Just a note: how can you seriously deal with the Web site showing such error:

"Unsupported Browser
Your browser is currently not supported. AdvancedMD supports the latest version of Internet Explorer."?

I tried the latest Mozilla browsers and latest version of Mozilla Chrome.

For Internet Explorer, it complains that a popup blocker is enabled and output the popup (!) error message which barely fits on screen.

There is no "Advanced" about it. Such site has no right to exist.

I don't see any solution to the problem what the user has posted about - I could see only a sarcastic comment about the website questioning the intention of the original developers who developed the site the specific way without knowing the reasons behind it! You of all people should be responsible enough in posting "solutions" like this..

Thank you for your comment.

This is true of course -- my post is only a sarcastic comment, sorry about it.
True, this is not a solution at all. Sometimes I do it, not often at all. You are talking as if it was something bad... :-)
What's the problem? At least I don't tell lie like some other "experts" do. Down-vote it if you think this is inappropriate, big deal.

haha - I don't know about the so called other experts who lie in here :) So no comments on that. I have seen you post great replies to even the most trivial questions - hence I like you for that, and I have seen you advising others not to post mere comments as 'solutions'. And when I saw you, yourself doing what was told not to do, I just reminded you about it - no big deal. People do look up to you in here, and want to learn from you. "With great fan-base, comes greater responsibility" :) cheers

I really appreciate your comment. I a way, it's even too much flattering to me. I think we both feel nearly the same about responsibility. I only think it should be taken a bit more easy. Yes, I often noted against comments placed as "solutions", but not in all cases. The post should not be a "solution" -- it should be useful or at least interesting. I often put a non-popular posts when I knew in advance it they would cause negative reactions and multiple down-vote. To help does not mean "to answer". To help is to tell some important truth, while answering can be useless. Well, my post we discuss right now is really pretty much useless, but I rather wanted to use a chance to bring to attention one simple thing: developers often waste their time on useless activity. For that, I wanted some room. So, I'm not going to give up this little post.

Thank you very much.
