INFOPATH problem with date/time format

Hi,

I have big issue with date/time format which are stored in one Share Point 2010 document library's column. Dates are stored as e.g. 15.11.2011., and in some fields dates are stored in wrong format, as 2011-11-15T00:00:00Z.

When i try to open Infopath document that uses date in wrong format, the form becomes unusable, and any further changes could not be made.

I have one remark: Today() function is in use, not Now() function. Does enyone have clue what could be the problem?

Hi,

1. Right click the date picker and go to its properties.
2. Go to "Data" tab and Select the "Data Type" from the dropdown. (Date / Date time)
3. Click on the format button and in the opening window; tick the "Display the date like this" radio button.
4. Then select the "Locate" you want and select the date display you want form the list box.

Following these steps you can select the date format as you wish... :)

Solution 2

If any one are getting the Date field from the SharePoint then try this Solution

Open infopath form in the infopath Designer and in the date Field under Default value Place this Formula

Substring-Before("Select your Field","T")

While I applaud your urge to help people, it's a good idea to stick to new questions, rather than ten year old ones. After that amount of time, it's unlikely that the original poster is at all interested in the problem any more!
Answering old questions can be seen as rep-point hunting, which is a form of site abuse. The more trigger happy amongst us will start the process of banning you from the site if you aren't careful. Stick to new questions and you'll be fine.
