Serial port set portmode ppp problem

Hi all

Through a windows application if I want to set portmode to ppp it is just returning CMD and ? nothing else

Please help me out in knowing how to set portmode to ppp through my application

Not clear at all. What's "returning CMD". Are you talking about Point-to-Point over a serial channels? What is those points then; what is "serial"? (RS-232, USB or something?)
