Need Help to create a control similar to Timeline in MOvie maker where videos are joined and trimmed

Hi,
iam using C# and WPF

I want to create a control where i can drop multiple videos on the control(video thumbnail should apper in thye control).Also i should able to trim the videos with mouse. i should able to play the selected video in a MediaPlayer.
similar to a control in Windows movie maker timeline.

can any one help me what are the controls used in movie maker timeline and how videos are merged and trimmed in that control.

How can i create a control just like that using C#.

Solution 1

This question is far too broad for a Quick Answers forum; you are asking for a complete Video Editor specification. I would suggest you do some research into each individual component of video editing, merging, playing etc.
