Generate thumbnail image from video

Hello guys i was wondering if anyone of you know how to generate a thumbnail image from an uploaded video from your server? i did a research and all of them says that i need to install the ffmpeg... but i cant seem to find a working link for this file please help me... i tried looking into this site http://superb-west.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ffmpeg-php/ffmpeg-php-0.5.0.tbz2[^] but its not working please help

i installed it but im having problem with the installation on ffmpeg... when i come to this code ./configure --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libogg --enable-libvorbis --disable-mmx --enable-shared

it says
Unknown option "--enable-libogg".

any idea?
