Logical to Physical drive mapping

I need to ensure that two Logical drives are different Physical drives. e.g. Disk[0][0] and Disk[1][0] NOT Disk[0][0] and Disk[0][1]. Where can I find the info?

Dev Env: Borland C++ Builder 4
Target: Win XP & Vista
