Problems compiling Visual Basic DLL on XP

Hello,

I'm trying to compile old Visual Basic dll code on XP, and it gives me error message "Error in loading DLL". I don't know exacty which dll is it, but the project references external dll created in visual studio 2008. Could this be the problem? Any ideas how to comple the VB6 dll code?
