i want to develop a network monitoring tool in java (using netbeans 7.0 software)
my motive is
1. i want to make a user interface.
2. where i will give buttons as it was in IP Scanner in this website which was in visual c++. I just want to do the same in java .

so plz help me in doing this and how shoul i proceed to develop my project...plz helpp
