how to change crystal report Vesion.

i want to change Default setting of Crystal Report like

<%@ Register Assembly="CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=10.5.3700.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304"

i need this version= Version=12.0.1100.0

<%@ Register assembly="CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=12.0.1100.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304" namespace="CrystalDecisions.Web" tagprefix="CR" %>
but when i change to set this Version=12.0.1100.0 so that i give Error on Design

To change the version of any application, you have to install the new version of the software, not just change the number in your code. Features and bug fixes do not happen like magic when you tell software it is newer!

That is like changing the Ford badge on your car for a Ferrari one and expecting it to get much, much faster!

Solution 2

You didn't mention the error message in your question.

In the project, remove the old version reference, add the new version reference & rebuild the solution.
