avoid generating manifest files

Hi,

Is there any ways that we can avoid generating the manifest files for vsto project? am trying to obfuscate the source code of outlook ribbon project which is developed by using vsto. after the obfuscation if i try to install the vsto it gives the error that data in the manifest doesnt match. so is it possible to obtain the dll's without a manifest file.
