color spaces for skin color

hi all
i'm working on a project concerning with hand detection. in my project i will detect skin color, so can you give me which space of colors is the best for this purpose
is it HSl, YCbCr or RGB?
if i use HSl, what will the range for hue and saturation be?

Solution 1

Colors will only get you so far - you need to detect the shape
Google: shape detection c#[^] - it's a non trivial task.
