Getting the status of printer and print jobs in MAC OS

Hi,


1. How to get the status of a printer and the jobs sent to printer using any language for MAC OS?
2. Are there any interfaces in wxWidgets to get the print job status and the printer status?

Tried Google for many days, Dint get any solution for MAC OS.

In windows we can use the structures like PRINTER_INFO_2 and JOB_INFO_2 to get every details related to printer and print jobs.

In MAC OS !!??????

wxWidgets provides a limited solution for printer status access. I can only access setup dialog and if I press cancel only den I can capture event.

How to get to know the status of the jobs sent to printer?? Nothing in wxWidgets documentation!!!
