Time Out Exception caught

In a rent a car Asp.net mvc3 application, while im trying to book a car through Eileo services before a car is getting confirmation from server : Eileo, im getting a error, im not getting y this is raised,.... please any suggetions

Error :

The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:59.9843737. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.

Solution 1

This is not a very detailed question - can you explain a bit more - is this your own code which is timing out? A value of 60 seconds is very long, the timeout is occuring almost certainly because a failure of the backend - we need more detail in the question.
