I have a simple table with 3 records in it. Doing a

SQL

select * from table

with ODBC is
extremely slow, on the magnitude of 20 seconds or more.

how to improve the speed of the MYSQL ODBC 3.51 driver in windows XP?

Sounds more like a hardware than software problem. Is the disk churning away all the time during the search? possibly heavily fragmented hard disk, or low on memory resulting in the constant paging operations or combination of both.

Hello,

I don't know, why your server is slow.

Try to reinstall the whole MySQL server, PHP, and Apache server. After uninstalling these, you should restart your computer.

It worked once.
