Solution 1

On the basis that you have given us no idea what subject you will be programming it's very difficult to be any help. My best suggestion is to use Google to search for articles and tutorial on the subject(s) you are interested in.

thanks any way. this contest is about problem solving & algorithms using java & c++, by the way the first thing i've tried is google then i came here for extra help

Solution 2

Check out the regional contests
- check what was topic in the last contests.
- check if any regional contest have already been running. What was topic there?
- check out the details to the contest. Example:http://acmicpc-pacnw.org/details.htm[^]
- You need a team. Do you have one?
