Dear Friends,

I'm trying for the batch file which cleans the "Registry", based on the search key. (i.e., If we give the search key "Firefox", it should delete all the data from the Registry where ever it finds the word "Firefox". Can someone help me in this?

Hardly. It does not make a lot of sense and probably not possible at all. Are you familiar with any "real" programming languages? Even though the batch language have been improved since DOS time; even subroutines are not introduced, it remains unreasonably rudimentary language. Doing anything but the simplest things with it looks ridiculous. I hope you know more pleasant ways to waste your time.
