In my server there are plenty of cab files in
c:\windows\pchealth\errorrep\qsignoff, which are eating away a lot of
disk space. Can someone advise if I can delete them or how to stop them?

Can i off errorrep, buy doing some settings, so this folder won't be created.

Thanks my 5
Running Disk Cleanup will help you do that.
Select start/run,
Type cleanmgr and press enter
Select windir disk partition
Click on Ok button

I usually just delete them, once in a while.

It's one of those Microsoft Ideas which seemed good at the time but no one uses.

In my case they are consuming around 2 GB space, if i delete them, will that folder be generated again
Got this answer from a disussion and it worked.

If you want you can turn error reporting off which will prevent the creating of these files.

Right Click My Computer ->Advanced ->Error Reporting and select radio button to switch it off.

You can safely delete the contents of these folders without impacting your machine. These files help you triage any application failures you have on your machine.
