Fail to remember my XP "Administrator" password

Last night, i chage my XP's Administrator password. and now i Failed to remember it.
how can i logged in to Win XP.

There is no another user exist. Googled suggest me to boot OS with command prompt, delete SAM, SAM.LOG file. and your window will ask you for authentication.

will that work ? any other solution ?

This is the second time you have done this. I think a little more care is needed.

Solution 2

There are solutions for changing the user/administrator password on windows operating systems.

These are out of the scope of QA here, and certainly not for general public consumption.

Find a security expert in your area and have them reset your password.

do u know something about SAM file. what happen if i delete it ?

I read about them before that SAM is used to store the password. But never tried to delete it. BTW, you can try to remember the password, it's just yesterday you changed it.
